PLAY TIME IS POWERFUL

There is a famous saying, "When we make Play the foundation of learning, we teach the whole child."-Vince Gowman. This is more of a human right that kids are being denied, and playtime is curbed under parental supervising.

'Playtime is a fun time, and curbing it for kids is so illogical. 'You may get offended while a parent who believes free time and playing hours doesn't have the payoff that another chapter or revision session would. You do it because you want your child to thrive. And is it helping?

Playing is so natural and is best defined as a need. Letting children sit together in a room for some time will create a play session themselves so naturally, and they turn on to games well coordinated. Some researches proved the impact of playing on children and animals.

Like many animals, rats and cats play at a rising rate during their immature years, before peaking at puberty and, not unlike humans, decreasing as adults. The cerebellum growth—the part of the brain that coordinates and coordinates muscular activity—follows the same curve, increasing during the immature period and then leveling off after puberty. Scientists have speculated that those two facts might be related. In an experiment done by Sergio Pellis, a neuroscientist at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, researchers raised two sets of rats from birth, leaving one group to play with other juvenile rats. In contradiction, the other group was prevented from playing but otherwise had regular communications with adult rats. In adulthood, the rats were euthanized and dissected. Rats raised in the situation without play showed a more naive prefrontal cortex neuron pattern—the brain's center in mammals—than did rats who had been permitted to play. Creativity and Teamwork generated in kids while playing cannot be replaced with any other strategies to provide them with the same qualities as the play. In an age of academic competition, permitting children to find their happy, fun time at ease is challenging for caretakers to think of. Next time, when your kid seeks your permission to play, never think twice. Please encourage them to take games.

UTILIZE THE PLAYTIME WISELY.
Play with your child: Be the role model of your child. Sit and listen to their interests and understand how to route their skills effectively. Becoming your child's fun partner is the best thing you can gift them ever!

Choose developmentally active activities: Providing active toys are not enough. Help them chart activities capable of developing your child's personal, motor, and social skills. Tasks like:- Crawling through a cardboard box tunnel, Indoor obstacle courses,
swimming, or riding a tricycle or bicycle.

Use structured play method: When at least an hour is given a day for play, diving it into segments like 10 min of catch, 15 min of a bike ride, 25 min of swimming, and 10 min of watching screens or coloring.

Understand every skill is connected and linked to the cognitive, motor, social, personal, physical, mental, and academic development of your child.
